The UNICEF Eco Stage is a dome-shaped outdoor concert hall located next to UNICEF Hall that can accommodate up to 500 people.
It was built for large-scale performances such as orchestra, choir, and dance performances. It is also used for festivals and other events.
The gallery was named 'Pyeonghwarang Gallery' when the 5th Nami Island International Children‘s Book Festival—a special event featuring original children’s books about peace by authors and illustrators from around the world—was held under the theme peace (pronounced 'pyeonghwa' in Korean). The gallery presents diverse and creative works by both international and domestic authors and illustrators on a continual basis.
Nami Concours Gallery is a complex cultural space that invites children to step in and explore the imaginary world of fairytales.
The gallery presents exhibitions that are designed in various ways using space, sound, light, and movement, such as exhibitions featuring prize-winning works from Nami Concours, the largest picture book illustration contest in Asia.
Free Stage is a small semi-circular outdoor stage located at the intersection of Metasequoia Lane and Central Korean Pine Tree Lane.
Various performances that communicate openly with the audience are staged here every weekend.
The Andersen Picture Book Center, which opened in 2003 in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Hans Christian Andersen’s birth, is a cultural exhibition space for books. The center is dedicated to the study and exhibition of books that have been submitted for consideration for the Hans Christian Andersen Award by authors and illustrators from all around the world. The books at the center have been donated by the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY).
